Taxi (the most convenient way)
The most convenient way to get to Akademgorodok is by taxi, which takes about an hour. The organizing committee recommends using official taxi companies rather than private drivers:
A taxi from the airport to Akademgorodok costs 650-800 rubles. Baggage is charged separately. A taxi from Novosibirsk-Glavny Station to Akademgorodok costs approximately 500 rubles.
If you plan to use a taxi, we strongly recommend that you write down the phone numbers of the dispatch services immediately and contact them if you have any disagreements with the driver about the fare.
It's very convenient to book a taxi for your flight's arrival in advance (for example, from the departure airport). Check with the operator if they offer this service, whether they can track flight delays, and how this affects the fare.
Buses and minibuses from Tolmachevo Airport
You can also get from the airport to Akademgorodok by public transport.
- Take bus #111e and minibus #312 to the stop “Vokzal-Glavny”, then change to bus #8 to the stop “Tsvetnoy proezd”.
- Buses #112, #122 to the stop “Metro Ploshchad Marksa”, then change to minibus #15 to the stop “Tsvetnoy proezd”.
Attention: This method is time-consuming and can take more than 2 hours.
Transportation in Akademgorodok
Most of the facilities in Akademgorodok are within walking distance. For example, the distance from the hotel "Golden Valley" The distance to the conference venue – the Institute of Laser Physics SB RAS – is approximately 2,150 meters, or about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace.
The nearest public transportation stop, Tsvetnoy Proezd, is approximately 500 meters from the hotel. Travel time within Akademgorodok ranges from 5 to 10 minutes, not including the wait for a bus or shuttle. Therefore, we recommend walking, especially since much of the route runs through a forested park area.
However, if you do decide to use public transportation, we recommend a taxi. The fare within Akademgorodok is fixed and ranges from 70 to 90 rubles, depending on the company. You can call a taxi using the numbers listed above or order it through the app.

Accommodation
Several accommodation options are available for Conference participants.
Single and double hotel rooms "Golden Valley", which is a 15-minute walk from the Institute of Physical Problems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Accommodation rates are available on the hotel's website.
For Russian participants: The Zolotaya Dolina Hotel is part of the RAS hotel system, so Academy employees on business trips can stay there at discounted rates.
Accommodation in guest rooms in NSU dormitories is also available. While these rooms are significantly cheaper than hotel accommodations, they are less comfortable and require roommates.
